BioI was born in the Porthsmouth Naval Hospital on April 3rd, 1969. This was long before the age of rampant political correctness, so the hospital was free to sponsor a monthly Ugliest Baby Contest. I was the hands-down winner for April. I lost the yearly contest to another baby, Robbie Whitney who was born in August of the same year. As luck would have it 14 years later I met Robbie when we both lived in Guam. I took one look at him and decided that the hospital had made the wrong choice. That ugly baby trophy is rightfully mine!
